SUPPLEMENTARY SOURCE OF THIAMINE
INJECTION SOLUTION

COMPOSITION:
Each 1 ml contains:
Thiamine Hydrochloride …………………………………….. 500 mg

DESCRIPTION:
Thiamine (Vitamin B1) plays an important role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, and energy production for all cells.
It is most important in the breakdown of pyruvic acid, a waste product in hard working muscles, along with lactic acid. Thiamine is involved in the breakdown of glucose for energy.

Free Thiamine cannot be stored in the body, and it is rapidly absorbed from the intestine or blood, as well as from injection sites. Thiamine is water soluble, so it is rapidly absorbed and excreted from the body, requires regular supplementation, and especially in hard working animals when dietary input will probably not be sufficient.

INDICATIONS:
VITAVET B1 500 is a sterile injectable solution containing Thiamine Hydrochloride 500 mg/ml.
VITAVET B1 500 is indicated for use as a supplemental source of thiamine in cattle, dogs, cats and horses.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
(For deep intramuscular or subcutaneous injection at a suitable injection site):
Cattles and Horses: 5 – 10 mL twice weekly.
Sheep: Give 1 – 2 mL twice weekly.
Dogs: Give 1 – 2 mL twice weekly.
Please consult your veterinarian for proper dosing.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat: 0 day  Milk: 0 day

Keep it in a dry, dark place below 25°C.
