COMPOSITION :
Each 1000 gm contains :
Acetylsalicylic acid ……………………………………………… 500 Gm
Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) …………………………………… 250 Gm
INDICATIONS:
Poultry: As an anti-stress factor, in heat strokes, post vaccinal reaction, in viral and acute bacterial diseases.
Large Animal (Sheep, Goat, Camel): As a post operative pain killer.
In case of rheumatic pains, tendinitis, myositis and neuritis.
Supportive treatment for reduction of pyrexia in combination with appropriate anti-infective therapy, if necessary.
DESCRIPTION:
Acetylsalicylic acid is well-known, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and one of the weak analgesics.
Acetylsalicylic acid has an anti-inflammatory effect, a peripheral analgesic and antipyretic effect and it inhibits thrombocyte aggregation.
The effectiveness of acetylsalicylic acid is due primarily to the inhibition of the enzyme cyclooxygenase, responsible for the formation of prostaglandins and thromboxane from arachidonic acid.
Prostaglandins are significant causes of inflammations, pain and fever.
Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid) is involved in the conversion of folic acid to tetrahydrofolic acid and the conversion of proline to hydroxyproline which is essential to the formation of collagen.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or in cases of gastrointestinal irritation and ulcers, chronic gastro-intestinal disorders, bronchospasm, liver function impairment or nephropathies.
Do not use in pregnant or lactating animal.
Do not use in ruminant less than 4 weeks of age.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Camel, Calves, goats and sheep:
2gm Twice daily per 100 kg body weight for 3 – 5 days.

Poultry:
50gm twice daily per 100 litre of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat: Poultry, Camel, Calves, goats and sheep: 1 day.
Milk: Camel, Calves, goats and sheep: 1 day.
Egg: Poultry: 1 day.
