3 mg **Indications for Use:** Bromhexine Hydrochloride is used as an adjunctive treatment for respiratory diseases where mucus is a complicating factor.

Bromhexine Hydrochloride is a mucolytic agent with two pharmacological effects.

The first effect is stimulating the increased secretion of fluid from the mucous glands in the respiratory system.

The second effect is breaking down the network of acid glycoprotein fibers in mucous phlegm, which is primarily responsible for its viscosity.

Bromhexine Hydrochloride has been shown to increase mucus clearance in animals suffering from respiratory diseases.

**Indications include:** – **Poultry:** Chronic respiratory diseases, infectious bronchitis, infectious laryngotracheitis, influenza.

– **Turkeys:** Infectious sinusitis.

– **Calves, Lambs, Kids, and Foals:** Pneumonia, bronchopneumonia, rhinitis, cough.

**Contraindications:** – Hypersensitivity to Bromhexine.

– Animals with liver dysfunction.

**Precautions:** Treated water should be used within 12 hours.

Drug concentrations increase in bronchial secretions.

Caution should be taken when using Bromhexine with chloramphenicol, tetracycline, and aspirin.

**Side Effects:** Gastrointestinal disorders such as nausea, headache, dizziness, sweating, and allergic reactions may occur.

**Administration:** For oral use.

**Dosage:** – **Calves and Foals:** 3-6 ml per 10 kg of body weight daily for 3-5 days.

– **Lambs and Kids:** 0.6-1 ml per 10 kg of body weight daily for 3-5 days.

– **Poultry:** 3-5 ml per 1 liter of drinking water daily for 3-5 days.

**Withdrawal Periods:** – **Calves, Lambs, Kids, and Foals:** – Meat: 3 days – Milk: Not to be given to animals producing milk for human consumption.

– **Poultry and Turkeys:** – Meat: 2 days – Eggs: Not to be given to laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.

**Storage:** Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry place below 25°C.
