20 ml **Indications:** TWIQUIN is used for the treatment and prevention of trypanosomiasis caused by various species of *Trypanosoma*, including *T.
evansi*, *T.
vivax*, *T.
brucei*, *T.
equiperdum*, *T.
congolense*, and *T.
simiae* in cattle, buffalo, camels, sheep, goats, and dogs.
**Dosage and Administration:** Administer by subcutaneous injection only.
Dissolve TWIQUIN powder in 20 ml of sterile water for injection.
– **Dosage:** 0.025 ml per kg of body weight or 1 ml per 40 kg of body weight.
Do not exceed a dose of 20 ml per animal.
**Side Effects:** May cause tremors, sweating, and salivation in young animals.
Symptomatic treatment and veterinary assistance may be required if necessary.
In rare, severe cases, increased respiratory rate and heart rate may lead to animal collapse and death.
**Precautions:** Massage the injection site.
Exercise caution when treating weak animals.
Divided doses are recommended for sensitive animals.
Should not be given to animals with impaired kidney or liver function.
