COMPOSITION:
Each Bolus contains:
Sulphadiazine …………………………………………………. 1.583 gm
Sulphamethazine ………………………………………….. 1.583 gm
Sulphapyridine ………………………………………………. 1.583 gm
Streptomycin Sulphate …………………………………… 0.313 gm
INDICATIONS:
For the treatment of Bacterial Enteritis in Cattle and Goat.
DESCRIPTION:
Sulphacin is a potentiated sulfonamide that is used as a potential antimicrobial in the treatment of infections. A combination drug is more effective and has fewer side effects than when the drugs are used separately. This combination is used in the treatment of bacterial enteritis in cattle and goat.
CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Administration in case of renal or hepatic insufficiency, chronic infections, abscess formation.
SIDE EFFECTS:
As with all veterinary products, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of sulfadiazine and trimethoprim boluses.
Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use.
Common side effects include Hypersensitivity reactions and hematologic effects, including anemias, thrombocytopenia, or leukopenias and diarrhea.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Cattle & Goat:
1 bolus orally per 35 kg of body weight daily for 3-5 days.
The total daily dose should be divided into 2 or 3 equal doses, and administrated at intervals of 8-12 hours.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Cattle:
Meat: 21 days. Milk: Not intended for use for human consumption.
Goat:
Meat: 21 days. Milk: Not intended for use for human consumption.
Keep it in the original packing in a dry, dark place below 25°C.
