**P-Glycol 100% – 1 Liter** *Oral solution for ketosis prevention and treatment* — ### **Indications:** P-Glycol is used for the treatment and prevention of ketosis in dairy cows and pregnancy toxemia in sheep.
It provides propionate as a “direct” energy source for animals.
It can be mixed with high-fat or molasses to make a nutritious drink for cows.
It has a mild tonic effect that helps boost energy and encourages cows to start eating again.

– MPG can aid in the treatment and prevention of ketosis during late pregnancy and early lactation.
– P-Glycol has a palatable taste and can be given at up to 10% in feed, making it acceptable for dairy cows.
– P-Glycol does not harm rumen microflora and leaves no undesirable residues after oxidation.
— ### **Contraindications:** – Do not use in cases of known resistance/cross-resistance.
– Do not use in animals allergic to the active ingredient.
– Consult a veterinarian when administering P-Glycol to cows with milk fever, mastitis, or metritis.

Withdrawal Period:- None Dosage and Administration:** **Mix with feed or administer as a drench:** – **For Prevention**: – **Cows**: 175-225 ml daily.
– Start two weeks before calving and continue for 6 weeks after calving.
– Sheep: 50-100 ml daily.
– Start four weeks before lambing and continue until lambing.
– For Treatment**: – **Cows**: 200-400 ml daily, depending on severity.
Administer for 10 days.
