ANTI-BIOTIC SPRAY
DESCRIPTION:

Opti-Gent Spray is a ready-to-use topical preparation formulated with gentamicin sulfate and lidocaine hydrochloride to provide broad-spectrum antibacterial coverage and rapid local relief of pain and irritation. It is designed for external use in cattle, camels, horses, sheep, goats, and swine to support skin and eye hygiene where bacterial contamination is likely.

INDICATIONS:
Opti-Gent Spray helps control and reduce local bacterial infections sensitive to gentamicin, including: Gram-positive species (Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp.) and Gram-negative species (E. coli, Proteus, Salmonella, Pseudomonas, Moraxella, etc.). It is particularly useful for bovine keratoconjunctivitis (pink-eye) caused by Moraxella bovis, as well as superficial wounds, cuts, abrasions, and umbilical infections.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat: 6 days after last treatment.
Milk: 6 hours after last application.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
External topical application.
Distance: Spray evenly from about 10 cm to ensure full coverage of the affected area.
Frequency: Repeat every 12–24 hours for 3–5 days, or as advised by a veterinarian.
Pre-cleaning: Gently clean the site before each application.
Lactating animals: Apply after milking, not before. In case of not seeing any important improvement within 48 hours of having started the treatment, the diagnosis should be restated and the therapy should be made appropriately.
