220 mg **Description:** Erythromycin is a macrolide antibiotic with bacteriostatic effects against a wide range of bacteria.
It also exhibits bactericidal activity against certain pathogens.
It is highly active against Gram-positive bacteria and, at low concentrations, inhibits many other types of microbes.
In addition to Gram-positive bacteria, most strains of *Neisseria* and *Haemophilus* are also sensitive, as are some strains of *Bordetella*, *Brucella*, *Pasteurella*, *Listeria*, *Actinomyces*, *Mycoplasma*, *Rickettsia*, certain large viruses, and *Treponema pallidum*.
Tetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic with bacteriostatic effects within the body.
Its spectrum includes Gram-positive and Gram-negative, aerobic, and anaerobic bacteria.
Major pathogens associated with postpartum uterine infections, such as *Arcanobacterium (Actinomyces) pyogenes* and *Escherichia coli*, are sensitive to tetracycline.
Serum concentrations of 0.5 to 2 µg/mL are effective for systemic effects against most sensitive organisms and should be maintained for an adequate period.
Concentrations above 2 µg/mL of tetracycline are readily achieved in vaginal fluid after administration of the recommended dose.
**For Veterinary Use Only.** **Indications:** LUTRAVET is used to treat infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria sensitive to tetracycline and erythromycin in poultry, sheep, calves, and goats.
Especially effective for: coryza, infectious sinusitis, pullorum disease, pneumonia, typhoid, fowl cholera, diarrheal infections, and microbial infections leading to reduced production and mortality.
The B-vitamin complex and calcium propionate supplement any vitamin deficiencies in the body.
