10 mg Indications: IVECTINE injection is used for the treatment and effective control of the following harmful parasites in cattle and sheep.

Cattle:*Gastrointestinal roundworms:** including Ostertagia lyrata, Ostertagia ostertagi, Cooperia oncophora, Cooperia pectinata, Cooperia punctata, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Bunostomum phlebotomum, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Strongyloides papillosus, Nematodirus helvetianus, Nematodirus spathiger, Trichuris spp.

– Lungworms: Dictyocaulus viviparus – Eye worms: Thelazia spp – Cattle grubs: Hypoderma bovis, H.

lineatum – Sucking lice: Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenopotes capillatus.

– It can also be used as an aid in controlling biting lice (Damalinia bovis) and mange mites (Chorioptes bovis), but complete eradication may not occur.

**Sheep:** – **Gastrointestinal roundworms:** including Ostertagia circumcincta, O.

trifurcata, Haemonchus contortus, Trichostrongylus axei, T.

colubriformis, T.

vitrinus, Cooperia curticei, Oesophagostomum columbianum, O.

venulosum, Nematodirus filicollis, Chabertia ovina, Trichuris ovis.

– Lungworms:** Dictyocaulus filaria, Protostrongylus rufescens – **Nasal bot flies:** Oestrus ovis – **Mange mites:** Psoroptes ovis.

– Contraindications: – Do not administer by intramuscular or intravenous injection.

– IVECTINE injection is formulated specifically for use in these target species.

Do not use in other species, as severe adverse reactions, including fatalities, may occur in dogs.

— Dosage and Administration: For subcutaneous injection only.

– IVECTINE injection is administered to cattle and sheep at a recommended dose of 0.2 mg per kg of body weight, providing extended control over re-infestation with specific parasites for certain periods: – **Barber’s pole worm (Haemonchus placei):** 14 days.

– **Small intestinal worm (Cooperia spp.):** 14 days.

– Hair worm (Trichostrongylus axei):** 14 days.

– Brown stomach worm (Ostertagia ostertagi):** 21 days.

– Nodular worm (Oesophagostomum radiatum):** 21 days.

– **Lungworm (Dictyocaulus viviparus):** 28 days.

– The timing of treatment should be based on epidemiological factors and tailored to each individual farm.

The dosing program should be established by a qualified person.

— Withdrawal Period: – **Cattle (meat and offal):** 49 days.

– Cattle (milk):** Do not use in cattle producing milk for human consumption.

Do not use in non-lactating dairy cows, including pregnant heifers, within 60 days of calving.

– Sheep (meat and offal):** 37 days.

– Sheep (milk):** Do not use in sheep producing milk for human consumption.

Storage: Store in the original packaging, in a dry, dark place below 25°C.
