Injection Solution

COMPOSITION:
Each 1 ml contains:
Phenylbutazone ……………………………………. 180 mg.
Dexamethasone sodium phosphate ………. 0.35 mg.

DESCRIPTION:
Dexamethasone has a pharmacologic effect in all cells on the body.
From different effects immunosuppressive (partially or completely suppressing the immune response of an individual), anti inflammatory actions have been more evaluated and is indicated in these medical conditions.
Phenylbutazone inhibits the prostaglandin’s inflammatory effects.

INDICATIONS:
For the treatment of primary type affections of the locomotive system and coadjuvant to antibiotherapy treatment of infectious arthritis.
Also indicated in inflammatory processes that are common to osteopathies, adenopathies, neuropathies and mastitis,
In all which cases it combats the congestive process and painful symptoms that come along.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
This medicine not given to animals producing milk or meat for human consumption.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Horses: 20 ml per day by (slow Intravenous injection) that can be repeated depending on the severity of the conditions.

Foals: (Slow IV or deep IM): 6 10 ml to be repeated 24 – 48 hours later depending on the severity of the case.

Keep it in the original packing in a dry, dark place below 25°C
