ANTIBIOTIC SOLUTION
FOR ORAL ADMINISTRATION

COMPOSITION :
Each 1 ml contains :
Ciprofloxacin ……………………………………… 100 mg
Excipient q.s …………………………………………. 1 ml

INDICATIONS:
Ciprofloxacin is a synthetic, broad spectrum antimicrobial, bactericidal in action and effective against a wide range of gram positive and gram negative bacteria as well as mycoplasmas.
It is indicated for use in Turkeys, Broilers, Broiler breeders, and Replacement Chickens, for diseases of the respiratory and alimentary tract, of bacterial or mycoplasmal origin, e.g. pasteurellosis, mycoplasmosis, salmonellosis, coli-septicaemia and coli-bacillosis, where clinical experience, supported where possible by sensitivity testing of the causal organism, indicates Ciprofloxacin as the drug of choice.

USES:
Used for Gastrointestinal, respiratory and UTI caused by ciprofloxacin sensitive micro-organisms like Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp. in calves, goats, poultry and sheep.

SIDE-EFFECTS:
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Administration to juvenile animals can lead to arthropathy.

CONTRA INDICATION:
Hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin.
Administration to animals with a serious impaired hepatic and/or renal function.
Concurrent administration of tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Calves, goats and sheep: Twice daily 10 ml per 75–150 kg body weight for 3–5 days.
Poultry: 200 ml per 400 litre drinking water for 3–5 days.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Cattle and Calves:
Meat: 5 days
Milk: 4 hours
Sheep and goat:
Meat: 5 days
Milk: 4 hours
Poultry:
Meat: 1 day
Egg: Do not administer to layers producing eggs for human consumption.

Keep it in the original packing in a dry, dark place below 25°C
