50 mg Indications: BURVAQUIN is used to treat tick-borne theileriosis caused by intracellular protozoan parasites, including: Theileria parva (East Coast Fever, Corridor Disease, Zimbabwean Theileriosis) Theileria annulata (Tropical Theileriosis) Theileria mutans and Theileria orientalis in cattle It targets both schizont and piroplasm stages of Theileria spp.
and can be administered during the incubation period or when clinical symptoms appear.
Dosage and Administration: For intramuscular injection only: Cattle: Administer 1 ml per 20 kg of body weight in the neck muscles.
In severe or advanced cases, repeat the treatment after 48–72 hours at the same dosage.
Withdrawal Period: Meat: A minimum of 42 days after the last administration.
Milk: A minimum of 2 days after the last administration.
Storage: Store in the original packaging in a dry, dark place below 25°C.
