1 ml **Description and Indications:** VITAVET ACID C 500 is a sterile injectable solution used as an additional source of ascorbic acid for various target animals.

VITAVET ACID C 500 acts as a potent antioxidant, enhances immune response, aids in amino acid synthesis, and improves collagen production.

Vitamin C is essential for folic acid conversion and plays a role in the metabolism of certain steroid hormones.

Vitamin C injections serve as a powerful antioxidant to neutralize toxic free radicals produced during intense physical activity.

Vitamin C injection is crucial for maintaining and repairing joints, cartilage tissue, proteoglycans, and other joint components.

It is also necessary for collagen formation, maintaining teeth, bones, skin, blood vessels, and in the healing of burns, wounds, and fractures.

Vitamin C is also essential for synthesizing L-Carnitine.

Like B-complex vitamins, Vitamin C is water-soluble and not well stored in the body, as it is rapidly absorbed and excreted, thus requiring regular supplementation.

Horses can synthesize Vitamin C under normal conditions, but liver enzyme system failure may lead to a deficiency.

Vitamin C injection acts as a major antioxidant to neutralize free radicals, promotes tissue healing and growth, enhances immune function, and has anti-inflammatory properties.
