NON-STEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY SOLUTION.
Injection Solution

COMPOSITION:
Each 1 ml contains:
Diclofenac Sodium ……………………………………… 50mg

INDICATIONS:
Acute trauma and fractures.
Rheumatic arthritis and osteoarthritis.
Post-operative pain, inflammation and swelling.
Inflammation of muscles, tendons, and nerves.
Indicated for symptomatic treatment of diseases such as chronic arthritis.
It also used for treatment of abdominal pain or contract muscles.

CONTRA-INDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Active gastric or intestinal ulcer, bleeding or perforation.
Hepatic, heart or kidney failure.

DESCRIPTION:
Has analgesic, and antipyretic properties. Inhibition of prostaglandin biosynthesis, which plays a major role in causing inflammation, pain, and fever.
Diclofenac enters the synovial fluid, where maximum concentrations are measured 24-hours.
The apparent half-life for elimination from the synovial fluid is 36-hours.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
Meat, Milk: Camels, cattle, sheep and goats: 4 days.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
(Intramuscular injection).
Camels, horses, cattle, sheep and goats:
1 ml per 20Kg daily for 1 – 3 days.

Dogs and cats:
1 ml per 30Kg body weight daily for 1 – 3 days.

SIDE EFFECTS:
No undesirable effects are to be expected when the prescribed dosage regimen is followed.

Keep it in the original packing at temperatures not exceeding 25°C, protected from light.
