COMPOSITION:
Each 1 ml contains:
Ascorbic acid ……………………………………………. 500 mg

DESCRIPTION AND INDICATIONS:
VITAVET ACID C 500 is a sterile injectable solution indicated for use as a supplemental source of ascorbic acid on the different target animals.
VITAVET ACID C 500 worked as a powerful Antioxidant – Immune Response, Synthesis of Amino Acids and Collagen Enhancer.

Vitamin C is also essential in the conversion of folic acid.
Vitamin C has a role in the metabolism of certain steroid hormones.
VITAMIN C Injection has a large role as a potent antioxidant to remove toxic free radicals produced during hard physical exercise.

VITAMIN C Injection is critical and essential in the maintenance and repair of joints and joint cartilage, proteoglycans and other joint components, synthesis of collagen, tooth, bone, skin and blood vessel maintenance and also in the healing and repair of burns, wounds and fractures.

Vitamin C is essential in the synthesis of L-Carnitine.
Like the B Complex vitamins, Vitamin C is water soluble and is not well stored in the body. It is rapidly absorbed and equally as rapidly excreted, so it must be supplemented on a regular basis.

Horses are able to synthesize Vitamin C in normal circumstances, but failure of liver enzyme systems can initiate a deficiency.
VITAMIN C injection is a major antioxidant to neutralize free radicals.
VITAMIN C injection enhances tissue healing and growth.
VITAMIN C injection improves immune function and also acts as an anti-inflammatory agent.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
(For deep intramuscular or intravenous injection).

Horses: 5 – 10 ml by (IM) or (IV) regularly twice weekly, or as advised by a veterinary surgeon.

Calves, Colts, Sheep, Goats, Alpacas: 2 – 4 ml by (IM) or (IV) regularly twice weekly, or as advised by a veterinary surgeon.

Dogs, Cats, Lambs, Kids and Tuis: 0.25 – 1 ml by (IM) or (IV) regularly twice weekly, or as advised by a veterinary surgeon.

General dosage may vary from 1 – 10 ml depending on the weight and species of the animal.
