100 mg Indications: Gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to doxycycline and/or gentamycin, such as Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E.

coli, Klebsiella, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus spp.

in calves, lambs, kids, and poultry.

Description: Doxycycline belongs to the tetracyclines group and acts bacteriostatically against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including Bordetella, Campylobacter, E.

coli, Haemophilus, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus spp.

Doxycycline is also effective against Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, and Rickettsia spp.

Its action is based on inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.

Gentamycin is an aminoglycoside mainly effective against Gram-negative bacteria, especially useful for treating intestinal and respiratory infections.

It acts bactericidally against mainly Gram-negative bacteria, including Campylobacter, Klebsiella, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, and Salmonella spp.

Its action is based on inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis.

Side Effects: Discoloration of teeth in young animals.

Hypersensitivity reactions to doxycycline or gentamycin.

Gastrointestinal disturbances are rare.

Dosage and Administration: Calves: Twice daily, 1 gram per 20 kg of body weight for 3-5 days.

Poultry: 1 kg per 1000 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.

Withdrawal Period: Calves, Lambs & Kids: 14 days Poultry: Meat: 8 days; Eggs: Do not use in layers producing eggs for human consumption.

Contraindications: Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to gentamycin or doxycycline, or animals with serious renal impairment.

Storage: Keep in the original packaging, in a dry, dark place below 25°C.
