ENROXINE 10%

**Enroxine 10% – 1000 ml** **Oral Liquid Antibiotic** **Indications:** Fluoroquinolone: Used for the treatment and control of chronic and acute respiratory diseases in poultry, colibacillosis, erysipelas, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, staphylococcosis, swine dysentery, enzootic pneumonia, watery body disease, enterotoxemia, and mastitis in cattle.

**Description:** Enrofloxacin belongs to the quinolone group and acts as an antibacterial agent, especially effective against Gram-negative bacteria such as *Campylobacter*, *Escherichia coli*, *Haemophilus*, *Mycoplasma*, *Pasteurella*, and *Salmonella*.

Enrofloxacin is a broad-spectrum, bactericidal antibiotic effective against a wide range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria as well as mycoplasma.

It is used in poultry, broilers, breeders, and replacement chickens for respiratory and gastrointestinal diseases caused by bacteria or mycoplasma such as *Pasteurella*, *Escherichia coli*, *Mycoplasma*, and *Salmonella*, where its recommended use is supported by clinical experience.

**Side Effects:** Due to the harmful effects of enrofloxacin on joints, care should be taken not to exceed the recommended dose or treatment duration.

Digestive disorders may appear in calves.

**Withdrawal Period:** – Calves, lambs, and goat kids, meat: 10 days.

– Chickens, meat: 10 days.

– Chickens, eggs: Not permitted for use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.

**Dosage and Administration:** – **Calves:** 2.5 mg of enrofloxacin per kg of body weight (1.25 ml per 50 kg) daily for 3 days.

The dose can be increased to 5 mg per kg for 5 days to treat salmonellosis and complicated respiratory diseases.

– **Lambs and Goat Kids:** 5 mg of enrofloxacin per kg of body weight (0.5 ml per 10 kg) mixed with water daily for 3 – 5 days.

– **Poultry:** 10 mg of enrofloxacin per kg of body weight (0.1 ml per kg) mixed with water daily for 3 – 5 days.
