OXYSOLE
**Oxysol** **Deworming Tablets** **For Oral Administration** **Indications:** Oxysol is used for the treatment and control of gastrointestinal and lungworm infections, as well as for chronic fascioliasis in cattle, camels, and sheep (effective against both adult worms and larvae), including: *Haemonchus longisplis, Strongylus mentulatus, liver fluke, Parathrema skrjabini, Trichostrongylus spp, Nematodirus spp, Trichuris ovis*, and *Fasciola hepatica* (mature liver flukes 6 weeks post-infection).

**Contraindications:** Should not be used on animals known to be hypersensitive to the active ingredients.
**Pharmacological Properties:** Oxyclozanide is an anthelmintic from the salicylanilide group, effectively working against various types of fasciola by disrupting oxidative phosphorylation processes, leading to metabolic failure and parasite death.
This substance is particularly effective against mature liver flukes.
Oxyclozanide is slowly absorbed after oral administration, reaching peak plasma concentration after 24 hours and is primarily excreted through feces.
Levamisole hydrochloride is an effective anthelmintic and a structural analog of tetramisole hydrochloride, used to treat a wide range of gastrointestinal and lung parasites.
Levamisole acts as a neural stimulant for the worms, causing neuroparalysis, which leads to the death of the parasites.
